Hello! We are Volotea, the airline of small and mid-sized cities in Europe.

In this role, you’ll be responsible for assigned AP workflows that directly support Volotea’s operations and supplier relationships. Your work will ensure reliability, visibility, and consistency across high-volume payment processes — with room to improve how we work every day.

How will it be to work with us?

🔍 Invoice management and issue resolution: You will be responsible for recording invoices, identifying and resolving discrepancies, coordinating with vendors or internal teams to clarify issues, and ensuring all invoice information is accurate and up to date. Experience in invoice registration is essential.

📄 Requesting and reconciling vendor account statements: You’ll regularly request account statements from suppliers and perform reconciliations to ensure all invoices, payments, and balances are aligned.

📞 Communicating with vendors: You’ll interact with vendors by phone and email to clarify issues, follow up on pending items, and resolve any incidents with professionalism and clarity.

📊 Preparing and delivering reports: You’ll support the team by generating periodic reports that help us track invoice status, reconciliations, and other key AP metrics.

🕵️‍♀️ Supporting external audits: You’ll help gather documentation, respond to auditor requests, and ensure all required information is delivered accurately and on time.

🤝 Providing general support to the AP Manager: You’ll collaborate closely with the Accounts Payable Manager, assisting with daily operations and participating in special projects that improve our processes.

What will make you succeed in this position:

💼 Around 3 years at least experience in Accounts Payable or transactional finance roles, with hands-on responsibility for invoice processing and vendor interaction.

📊 Experience working with operational data, reports, or KPIs related to AP activities.

💻 Solid Excel skills (data handling, basic reporting).

🧠 Detail-oriented, and solution-focused working style.

🗣 Strong communication skills in Spanish and English.

🎓 Degree in Business Administration, Economics, or a related field is considered a plus. Finance training is ideal.
